Food Closet

James, in his practical book of the Bible, lays it on the line to Christ-followers. In James 2:14-26, he chastises us if we hear about someone in need and we simply wish them well, but do nothing to provide for those needs.

The Chapel has a food closet located at its Akron Campus. We have some wonderful volunteers who keep it well-organized and orderly. Many appreciative recipients have carried out bags of food and toiletry needs.

We also provide food for students through Backpacks of Love, given out every Friday to provide food through the weekend.

You can have a part in the relieved smiles of those who can breathe a little easier because they don't have to worry where their next meal is coming from. Please consider donating.
